MBL CHAMPIONS!
A huge congratulations to our superstar track
athletes for their amazing performances at the MBL Championships! The JV Boys and Girls both won thrilling championships
with the girls winning by only one point and the boys by 7. For the girls it's their 11th title in school history and their
first since 2010. For the boys it's an incredible 25th league title in school history and their 3rd in a row.
The Varsity Girls also put on a great show placing
a 2nd in the very strong Gabilan division.
Tori Teraji led the way with 3 wins including
a new school record in discus!! Taylor Blaha was the top point scorer winning the triple jump and moving to #3 all time at
NMC and placing 2nd in high jump and long jump as well as 3rd in the 100! BreAnn Scally also soared placing 2nd in the 100
hurdles and 300 hurdles as well as 4th in the high jump and triple jump! The varsity boys placed 7th and congrats to the 5
guys going on to MBL Masters!

Congrats to Taylor Blaha for breaking the school record in the long jump
which stood for 24 years! She also moved up to #3 all time in the triple jump! BreAnn Scally has moved into a tie for #2 all
time in high jump at 5' 2! And, last but not least, Tori Teraji has moved into #4 all-time in discus (121'
3") and #5 all time in shot put (35' 10")!!! Not bad for the school record holder in the pole vault!!

The Condors have soared in the 2014 track season!
Highlights include the Frosh/Soph Boys winning the Wildcat Relays and
the Varsity Girls winning the North Salinas Invite plus lots of wins in duals! The Varsity Girls, JV Boys, and JV Girls all
have a shot at the league titles coming soon!
