5-16-09 MBL FINALS!
The Frosh Soph Boys and Girls highlighted the day by DEFENDING THEIR MBL TITLES!  The youngsters did a great job all year! Congrats!!!
On the Varsity side of things, the track Gods did not smile upon the team this time around.  With some major injuries to some key athletes and some jinxed last set of hurdles, the Condors did their best and fought a good fight!
The Varsity Boys had the meet in hand and saw it slip away throughout the day with big hits left and right.  They still battled to the end and made it a close meet to eventual champions Monterey.  Congrats to Daniel Marquez (HJ) and to Zack Wilhelm (300 hurdles) for their individual titles.
The Varsity Girls knew it was going to be a big task to knock off Monterey and it was.  The ladies came ready for the challenge and performed at a very high level but just came up short with depth.  Congrats to Tate Sahara (LJ and TJ), Nadine Huerta (400 and 4x400), Jovita Trujillo (1600, 800, and 4x400), Mayra Tostado (4x400), and Elsa Solorio (4x400) for their individual titles!

Good luck to all the Condors that qualified for the CCS Semis next Saturday at Gilroy!

5/7/09 The Condors soared over Monterey taking 3 out of 4 divisions to wrap up our dual meet season.  The Varsity Boys led the way with a convincing win and the Frosh/Soph Boys and Girls pulled out close wins!  The Varsity Girls put up a very valiant fight and kept it close until the last 2 events! The teams are now a combined 19-1!!!!!! Even with the loss the Varsity Girls stand in a tie for first place in league along with Monte Vista and Monterey all at 4-1.  Our Varsity Boys, F/S Boys and F/S Girls are all alone in first place at 5-0! All four teams head into league finals with a great shot for the title in all four divisons!
GO CONDORS!

5/2/09 Our skeleton crew went over North Salinas and did very well!
The Varsity Boys led the way winning the meet! The Varsity Girls were a great 2nd, the Frosh/Soph Boys 3rd, and the Frosh/Soph Girls 5th.
